About The Workshop

Amritarishta is a polyherbal hydroalcoholic Ayurvedic preparation and traditionally used by Ayurvedic Practitioners as a choice of remedy in mostly all types of fevers. The chief ingredient of Amritarishta is Guduchi, dried stem of Tinospora cordifolia. The chemical constituents reported from stems of Tinospora cordifolia have many notable medicinal properties such as antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, antimalarial, immunomodulatory and antineoplastic.
One study showed significant antibacterial activity of Amritarishta against common human pathogens as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella typhii, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Another study on Amritarishta -T and Amritarishta -M prepared by traditional and modern methods respectively showed significant diuretic, natriuretic and kaliuretic effects.
