About The Workshop
Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest continuously practiced systems of medicine, dating back to about 5000 years. Ayurved places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through diet and lifestyle, proper cooking methods, yoga and meditation practices, proper exercise, herbal nutrition as well as cleansing and rejuvenating Ayurvedic therapies. Pratibha Shah will talk about key principles of the Ayurvedic approach and how they can be integrated in one’s own personal lives for a life of wellness and vitality. The workshop will include a Spring Wellness herbal tea sampling and an activity session for quick bodytyping.
